Turnaround & Policy
MIDNIGHT.
The wait matters. So does knowing when it ends.
A next-day lab in Toronto. This page is the clock — when it starts, how your roll moves, and what “by midnight” actually means.
Read this first
Next-day means ready by midnight the next day — not a strict 24 hours, and not guaranteed before our 6 PM close. It is our standard turnaround under normal operating conditions.
Turnaround starts once your film is checked in at the Toronto lab — not when it is dropped in a mailbox, handed to a carrier, left at an independent third-party drop-off location, or marked delivered by a carrier. Same-day and rush windows depend on volume and are never assumed.
Every process,
next day.
All four processes run in-house at one Toronto lab. Nothing is sent out, so the timeline stays under our roof.
From check-in
to midnight.
Every roll takes the same path. The clock runs from check-in — not from when it left your hands.
Checked in
Your film reaches the Toronto lab and is logged to your order. The next-day clock starts here.
Processed in-house
C-41, B&W, E-6, or ECN-2 runs through its matching in-house workflow the same working cycle.
Scanned & checked
Frames are scanned on Noritsu, Frontier, or Flextight, then reviewed by a photographer before delivery.
Ready by midnight
Files delivered, negatives handled — ready by midnight of the next day. Not guaranteed before our 6 PM close.
The terms,
up front.
Everything that shapes your turnaround, in plain language.
When the clock starts
Turnaround is measured from check-in at the Toronto lab. Mail-in rolls and orders left at an independent drop-off location enter the clock once received and logged here — not at drop-off, and not when a carrier marks a parcel delivered.
Not a 6 PM promise
Next-day means ready by midnight the next day. We do not guarantee completion before our 6 PM close on the same day.
Volume & peak periods
Standard turnaround applies under normal operating conditions. When we know in advance that a broader delay will affect new orders, we make reasonable efforts to say so before purchase. If something unexpected arises after an order is placed, we let you know as soon as reasonably practicable.
Delivery & pickup
Scans are delivered digitally; negatives are returned or held per your order. Download links are normally available for 2 weeks, and physical materials are held for 30 calendar days after they are ready.
